Jesuit are a cult post-hardcore and sludge metal band from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, whose crushing, feedback-drenched sound earned them a devoted underground following throughout the late 1990s and 2000s. Alongside contemporaries like Converge, Coalesce and Botch, they helped define the brutal edge of American hardcore.
Known for their aggressive, dissonant style and their split releases on labels including Alerta Antifascista and Level Plane Records, Jesuit built a fierce reputation in the DIY heavy music circuit. Their name carries real weight among fans of sludge, mathcore and experimental hardcore.
Fits perfectly on laptops, guitar cases, amp covers, water bottles, skateboards, notebooks and bedroom walls.
