The Agip logo — the fire-breathing six-legged dog — was created by Luigi Broggini in 1952 for the Italian national oil company. In the world of performance, Agip is inextricably linked with Ferrari, having been the technical partner and sponsor for the Scuderia throughout many of their most successful periods in Formula 1 during the 1970s, 80s and 90s.
The logo appeared on the fairings of legendary bikes and the bodywork of world-beating cars, from the Ferrari 312T of Niki Lauda to the 641 of Alain Prost. Today, Agip (now Eni) remains an essential logo for anyone building a period-correct historic racer or detailing a modern Italian performance car. Fits perfectly on historic race car bodywork, Ferrari replicas, motorcycle fairings, toolboxes and garage displays.
