The Ducati Desmosedici RR was produced between 2008 and 2010 in a limited run of 1,500 units as a road-legal homologation replica of the Desmosedici GP7 MotoGP factory race bike. Internally coded RC12G, the Desmosedici RR was powered by a 989cc V4 Desmoquattro engine producing approximately 200hp in road specification and featuring full titanium and carbon fibre componentry derived directly from the factory MotoGP programme — including Öhlins suspension front and rear, Brembo Monoblock calipers and a dry clutch. The RR was initially priced at around €60,000 and is now considered a significant collector's motorcycle, with original low-mileage examples changing hands well above original retail prices. The Desmosedici RR bodywork graphics and fairing panel artwork are among the most highly detailed and specific decal patterns in the Ducati range.
