The Ducati 851 SP3 was produced in very limited numbers in the early 1990s as a homologation special, designed to allow the 851 to compete in Superbike World Championship racing. Its water-cooled Desmoquattro V-twin engine was a landmark in Ducati history, replacing the air-cooled bevel-drive engines of an earlier era.
Closely related to the 888 SP series and the foundation for the later 916, 996 and 998 superbike family, the 851 is one of the most collectible and restored Ducatis ever built. Buyers often search for 851 SP, SP3, SP4, 888, and Desmoquattro alongside general Ducati superbike terms.
Fits perfectly on the fairing, tank, tail unit, helmet, pit lane equipment or workshop display.
