BSA was at one point the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer — producing the legendary DBD34 Gold Star scrambler and clubman racer, the A10 Golden Flash, A65 Lightning, and the iconic Bantam two-stroke commuter. Their Armoury Road Birmingham factory produced machines that dominated post-war British racing and road culture through the 1950s and 60s before closing in 1972. A new BSA entity is producing electric motorcycles using the historic name.
