Strosek Auto Design was a German coachbuilder and Porsche tuning specialist, founded by Vittorio Strosek in Rosenheim, Bavaria. Operating primarily through the 1980s and 1990s, Strosek built a reputation for creating highly distinctive body conversions for Porsche's air-cooled lineup — principally the 911, 928, 944 and 968 — along with other European performance cars.
Strosek's bodywork was characterised by wide-body conversions, dramatic spoiler packages, integrated front and rear aprons, and a visual language that pushed Porsche's already purposeful designs into genuinely extrovert territory. The Strosek 928 conversions — fitting wider flared arches, revised bumpers and integrated aerofoils to Stuttgart's V8 grand tourer — are among the most recognisable expressions of German 1980s tuning culture. The 911 and 968 conversions followed similar principles, creating track-day and show car specials that remain collector items.
The Strosek name is associated with an era when German independent coachbuilders could meaningfully modify a Porsche and offer the result as a complete vehicle — a tradition that also included RUF, Gemballa and Rinspeed. Today Strosek products appear primarily in classic car restoration and period-correct replica projects.
Fits perfectly on Porsche 911, 928, 944, 968 and classic German performance car builds and restoration projects.
