Faith were one of the defining bands of the early Washington D.C. hardcore punk movement, releasing their split LP with Void on Dischord Records in 1982 — a record that remains a touchstone of American hardcore. Fronted by Chuck Treece and later Mike Hampton, their raw, fast and urgent sound captured the energy of the era perfectly.
