The Jacks were a pioneering Japanese psychedelic rock band active in the late 1960s, widely regarded as one of the most important groups to emerge from Japan's underground rock scene. Their debut album Vacant World (1968) remains a landmark of Japanese rock history, blending raw garage energy with deeply personal, melancholic songwriting.
Led by vocalist and guitarist Haruo Mizuhashi, the band's short-lived career produced a devoted cult following that endures to this day — celebrated by fans of Japanese vintage rock, psychedelic music collectors and alternative music enthusiasts worldwide. Their influence can be heard across generations of Japanese indie and alternative artists.
Fits perfectly on guitar cases, amplifiers, record sleeves, laptops, notebooks, water bottles and bedroom walls.
