Coors Brewing Company was founded by Adolph Coors in Golden, Colorado in 1873, using Rocky Mountain spring water as a defining characteristic of its brewing process. Coors grew from a regional Colorado brewery into one of the largest brewing companies in the United States, and through the Coors Banquet, Coors Light and subsequent range became one of the most recognisable beer brands in North America.
Coors has a particularly strong association with American motorsport. The brand sponsored NASCAR teams and events extensively from the 1970s through the 1990s — the Coors Light Silver Bullet brand was associated with multiple NASCAR teams and the Coors Light 500 was a standing race event. The Coors logo was also a regular presence on IMSA and Trans-Am race cars of the same era, making it a standard element in period-correct American racing replica liveries. In the UK, Coors is primarily associated with the Molson Coors portfolio, which acquired the UK and European rights to the brand.
Fits perfectly on race car doors, fridge panels, garage walls, tool chests and motorsport sticker boards.
